According to some historians, gingerbread (lebkuchen) houses were crafted by German bakers after the popular story of Hansel and Gretel was published by the Brothers Grimm. German immigrants brought the tradition to America with them, and now gingerbread houses and gingerbread men and women are synonymous with the holiday season. Children are welcome to come and create their own magical gingerbread house at our
workshop. We’ll provide the house, icing, and all the goodies to top it off!
